dynOpt-San project meeting in Karlsruhe: progress in system integration, storage technologies & demonstration systems
On 17 and 18 November 2025, the second working and project meeting of 2025 for the dynOpt-San research project took place at project partner Fraunhofer IOSB in Karlsruhe - an important milestone on the way to intelligent, flexible and sustainable refurbishment processes for existing buildings.
The aim of the project is to develop methods and tools for a simplified hashtag#refurbishment of apartment buildings using standardised refurbishment modules that reduce information deficits in relation to the associated costs during planning, design and commissioning. In addition, the project aims to minimise greenhouse gas emissions and energy use by combining and integrating innovative systems and using a self-learning energy manager. The CO2-minimised supply of electricity and heat in the conceived renovation concepts is mainly provided by PVT-PCM heat pump systems, while the energy manager optimises and monitors operation.
Many thanks to Fraunhofer IOSB, Consolar Solare Energiesysteme GmbH, solares bauen GmbH, ESDA Technologie GmbH, enisyst GmbH and myEnergySolutions GmbH for the constructive exchange, the expertise and the continuous advancement of the project goals!
We are already looking forward to the next meeting in spring 2026!
